What has been going on during the last two decades of so-called globalisation has little to do with culture. Even less so with art. And least of all with music. It might seem worthwhile to keep these facts in mind as we listen to compositions that were conceived in circumstances of the planet’s wide-spread appropriation by a steadily decreasing number of people: europe, GLOBAL.
